Thorton Heath is a district in the London Borough of Croydon and is about 7 miles south of Charing Cross. The Thornton Heath High Street is the centre of a large area of north Croydon, which is known as Thornton Heath between West Croydon and South Norwood.
Thornton Heath is a place rich in history and it was in 1862 when the first railway had arrived. A popular attraction in Thorton Heath is the brand new leisure and sports centre.
