Sunbury
The community of Sunbury (also known as Sunbury-on-Thames) sits in the Surrey borough of Spelthorne. Sunbury is located along London’s commuter belt sitting 16 miles (25km) to the southwest. Feltham and Hampton are nearby, and the Thames River is the southern border. Sunbury has two distinct areas, the smaller riverside Sunbury Village with its near rural atmosphere, and surrounding Sunbury Common with a more urban feel. This community is the beginning of the M3 and large corporations such as Chubb and BP. The town is also home to a 1960’s era shopping facility, as well as a Tesco Extra superstore.
Apart from the commercial and industrial aspect, Sunbury also has a local sailing club which is used regularly by schools and other groups for education and water sports skills training. The lower region of the community, south of Sunbury Cross, has seen increased popularity with first time home buyers and those wishing to start families. The mix of 1930’s era semi-detached homes and Victorian terraces helped create an affordable and favourable alternative to living in London. There is also a conservation area within the village covering Thames Street including historic buildings, many pubs, restaurants, and a patch of river bank leading to the Church.
With all of this, Sunbury makes an affordable and likely community for a housing loan. Applying for a loan should be relatively simple for a community like Sunbury. Not sure about your credit? A good way to bring your score up to get the loan you want, is adding new positive accounts to your credit report. When there is a situation of either no credit history or only negative history, creating positive new accounts can raise the score. Beware if you already have positive results on your score history as this can also have a reverse effect.
