Sidcup
Located in the London Borough of Bexley, Sidcup is a suburban town resembling the time period of 1930’s. It still has many open spaces and parks which indicate the existence of massive estates that once stood in the area. Various manor houses are still standing and can be viewed when you have great car hire vehicles to travel around in. Examples of manor houses in the area are The Hollies, Frognal House, Sidcup Place and Lamorbey House.
Another claim to fame is that a platform on Sidcup station is where Mick Jagger and Keith Richards first decided to form a band which later became the Rolling Stones.
When you get car hire for your journey in and around Sidcup, you can see all of the local schools, libraries and shops, which hold plenty of charm. Enjoy the eateries and pop into the local antique shops, markets, and clothing stores. One great spot to visit is the Sidcup War Memorial where homage is paid to those brave soldiers of the First and Second World War.
You may also want to visit one of the romantic chapels in the area with your car hire in Sidcup. The Holy Trinity Church is another fabulous structure which shows the age and rural nature of the town.
