Hampton Hill

Hampton Hill (known long ago as ‘New Hampton’) is a town in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, bounded approximately by Fulwell Golf Course to the north, Bushy Park to the east and the Longford River to the south and west. It is served by Fulwell railway station, which lies on the Shepperton to Waterloo route. Fulwell Golf Course and train station are not to be confused with Fulwell in Tyne and Wear.

Hampton Hill is a small town in the South Western suburbs of London, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Hampton Hill is a nineteenth century offshoot from neighbouring Hampton; and is the overspill of Hampton uphill away from the River Thames, and across the Longford River (an artificial watercourse built to supply Hampton Court) which forms the boundary between Hampton Hill and Hampton.

You could live in one of the beautiful residential areas of the town; the High Street is filled with shops, pubs and cafes, as well as a traditional 75-year old bakery. The High Street also stages a yearly parade before Christmas, where the street is closed and a procession takes place.
