Egerton

Egerton is a small village south of Lancashire.  In its past this small town had many cotton mills however nowadays Egerton is a commuter town for Bolton and Blackburn Towns.  Egerton’s population is mostly middle class and it boast of two good school which are Canon Slade CofE School and Turton Media Arts College. Both of the schools are the most advanced and prestigious centers of education of the local youth.

Most of the homes in this village are made with red brick and the roofs are made with tile.  Some of these homes are detached and other homes attached to each other and may have large gardens.    This houses are not clustered around its down town area like other villages are.  The spread around the roads and the street have a good organization   this village has lots of damp pasture where cattle could graze all year round. You will love the beauty of this place with its many orchards with many different types of fruits on the high grounds. Egerton’s village setting is surrounded by Ashford valley which gives it a magnificent view.  The village is constructed around the Church of St. James that still stands tall up to this day.

Egerton is a wonderful place to raise a family for it is a place far from the noisy city and the smog. Its surroundings and the valley give the dwellers of this place fresh air to breath.
