East Moseley

East Molesey is a village situated on the banks of the River Thames in Surrey. It was an important place for loading, unloading and distributing manufactured goods and produce due to its riverside location.

The Bell Pub is a 16th century pub situated in Bell Road that was the haunt of many notoious highwaymen. The building is known affectionately by locals as “the old crooked house” because it leans at alarming angles! Bell Road also contains many old cottages built in the times of Hampton Court Palace. The palace can be reached from East Molesey in five minutes by walking across the Hampton Court Palace Bridge.

As well as the pub, the old village has many shops and Italian, French, Chinese, Thai and Indian restaurants.
